The Chopped Leaf opens location in Fort McMurray

Fort McMurray – July 15, 2020 – Fresh, wholesome and delicious flavours are in town.  The Chopped Leaf’s newest location in Fort McMurray, Alberta is ready to offer delicious options to fuel the community this summer and beyond.

Owner Elizabeth Namuddu Mbaja believes people should feel good after they eat, and is thrilled to be able to serve up nutritious dishes for anyone looking for both nourishing and flavourful options.

This is the first location of The Chopped Leaf for Elizabeth.  Elizabeth has a science-based background having graduated from The University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Science, and has worked for Suncor Energy as Senior PSM Engineer. Being a part of the Fort McMurray community for over 12 years, Elizabeth is excited to bring our restaurant chain to the area she loves.

The restaurant officially opens on Wednesday, July 15 and is located at Macdonald Island Park/ 1 CA Knight Way, Fort McMurray.  The Chopped Leaf celebrates people’s unique dietary needs and offers something for everyone. From vegan and vegetarian, to kid friendly and gluten-friendly options, our fresh and customizable salads, bowls, wraps and soups have been designed with you in mind.
